Latest Stack

Firstly please visit my new website at - www.radiancefurniture.co.uk   - its fairly simple at the moment but will be developed as time goes on.

This latest stack is all in sycamore as per the specifications of the client.  I think it works very well and looks light  and bright.  The grain on the drawer fronts is particularly decorative but the whole thing has lovely grain figuring.

The drawers are still English olive ash with unfinished cedar of Lebanon bases and I've used walnut dowels for the decorative effect.

This is a different combination of woods as a demonstration of possible combinations. Sycamore, elm and oak.

Bathroom cabinet

Here's a lovely simple English oak bathroom cabinet with a dovetail construction. A simple, functional design using beautiful wood and decorative traditional dovetails makes the piece an elegant, robust and bloody gorgeous cabinet.

The shaped solid English oak shelf was also made by me and the two were designed to go together.

The most decorative burrs were placed by the bottom 'bathside' corner so they can be seen as someone is languishing in the hot bubble bath.

I decided handles weren't necessary as a recessed bottom on the doors would keep the flow of the grain and were at the perfect height for opening.
